Air-dried training treats for dogs — UK guide

How SMPL’s air-dried training treats fit into training, reinforcement and reward routines — the same recipe as the bowl, sized for the pocket.

SMPL treats aren’t a different formula in a smaller pack — they’re the same air-dried chicken recipe we make for the bowl, cut into training-treat size pieces. Twelve named whole ingredients, vet-nutritionist formulated, made on the same line at the same standard. You can read the back of the pack and recognise everything on it.

Because the recipe is identical to the bowl, the treats aren’t a different macronutrient profile competing with dinner — they’re the same food, in smaller pieces. They work as a daily reward, a training reinforcement, or a chew that buys you ten quiet minutes. Most owners find the calorie load works out roughly to ten percent of a typical daily intake when used in moderation — leave the rest of the day’s calories for the complete bowl.

The bites are sized for medium-breed mouths but break cleanly with a thumbnail, so they portion easily for smaller dogs without leaving crumbs at the bottom of the pack. Larger dogs simply get more per session. The resealable pouch holds quality for six weeks after opening when stored cool and dry.

If your dog has a confirmed chicken allergy, this isn’t the right treat — check the back-of-pack ingredient list before adding to cart. For everything else, the only rule we follow is the one that goes on the bag of every SMPL product: real food, named ingredients, made in the UK.
